Space Coast Construction is a custom home builder in brevard county, Florida, proudly owned and operated locally by Carlton Benedetto. SCC was born out of a desire and passion to build unique custom and semi-custom homes that families would enjoy for a lifetime. Building throughout Brevard County, our expertise lie in working closely with our customers and supervising the finest sub-contractors in the area. We employ highly skilled professionals for each area of construction who in turn utilize advanced construction methods and only the finest building materials. We coordinate every facet of a building project, including job site supervision, quality control, material selection and warranty issues. We provide a seamless process to ensure a beautiful, expertly built home that you can be proud of and dependent on for years of comfort and satisfaction. At SCC, we are proud to make the entire building process both straightforward and stress-free for our clients. We accept numerous financing options and also work closely with several top ranking local real estate agents who can assist with property purchasing and selling of your pre-existing home if necessary.

Carl is the owner of Space Coast Construction and has been building custom homes and additions since 2003. His enthusiasm and excitement for each and every project, is both undeniable and infectious! Prior to building, Carl served as a police officer for a total of 23 years with the Cocoa Beach police Department. Before local law enforcement, Carl served our country in the United States Army and then the United States Air Force Reserves.
Carl has lived in Brevard County since 1996 with his wife, Nicola and their beloved yorkie, Abygail. They love enjoying the beach life to it's fullest. Carl and Nikki travel often and enjoy spending time with life-long friends and finding new adventures.
In 2000, Ian designed and built his first custom home. He fell in love with the process. However, it wasn't until 2011 while Ian was designing the interior renovation of Brevard's Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse, that he decided to enter the custom home business entirely. Drawing off of over 29 years experience previously as a Lighting & Scenic designer for the entertainment industry, he brings a very unique and often unconventional perspective to every project.
Ian lives in Rockledge with his wife Kristy and their Shih-tzu, Jackson. He is very active in the local Arts, often providing lighting design for productions at CVP and the King Center in Melbourne.
